MatchesThe young wicket-keeper batter got his first experience of the TATA IPL after he was signed by Rajasthan Royals at the mega auction ahead of IPL 2022. Named vice-captain for India’s U19 World Cup 2020 campaign, Jurel made his first-class debut for Uttar Pradesh in 2022. He was retained by RR ahead of the 2023 season and he repaid the franchise's trust with impactful performances and an excellent strike-rate of 172.72. Jurel made his Test debut shortly before the 2024 IPL season and his T20I debut soon after. The stylish keeper-batter was one of five players retained by RR ahead of IPL 2025, for a whopping INR 14 Crore, which shows the trust and respect he has earned as he now forms a core group for the franchise. Rajasthan will be relying on his useful and impactful performances for IPL 2026 as they search for their second IPL title.
